I’m the type of person that sits through the credits of a GOOD movie. Sometimes after the Credits are over something else happens, not very often, but sometimes.
Maybe that’s bad, because I end up disappointed a lot.
I just got done participating in a very long movie. And then the credits started rolling. I wasn’t ready for the movie to be over, the ending seemed to have come to soon, they could have put so much more in the movie.
So I sat there watching the credits roll, wanting something to happen after the credits.. maybe something that pointed to a sequel. But when the Credits were done rolling… that was it… It was OVER. Just like that.
There will be other movies. But I think it will be very hard to find another movie as good as this one, but I am not going to stop going to the movies just because this one was so good and so disappointing at the same time. I will go to other movies. And maybe someday I will find another movie as good as this one.
It might be a shorter movie. It might be a longer movie. And the ending might be as disappointing as this one was. But the only other option is to just to give up on the movies, and I’m not willing to do that.
So.. here is a toast to all the bad movies I will partake in before I find another good one. May they not be too long and may they not be to disappointing.. and may I not sit through the credits of a bad movie.. EVER!
